Founded in 1991 as part of Delhaize Group and carved-out in 2016, Tom&Co is the leading franchise of pet food and accessories retail stores in Belgium, operating more than 175 stores across Belgium, France and Luxembourg complemented with an e-commerce store.
The Deal
Since the carve-out from Delhaize Group in 2016, Tom&Co has significantly expanded its store portfolio in France while streamlining its Belgian operations. Leveraging on the new shareholder, Verlinvest’s extensive experience in building leading consumer companies, Tom&Co can further accelerate its growth to become a major player in Europe.
